Event Terms and Conditions of Entry

The Event: ADX Sydney & SIDCON24

A. Photography
By registering for any part of the Event, you give consent that any photos and/or video taken of yourself may be used for future ADX and/or ADIA marketing.

B. Your contact details
By registering for the Event, you give consent that your registration and contact details may be shared with ADIA, ADX Sydney exhibitors, sponsors and/or partners.

C. Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.

ADX Ancillary Events
1. General Terms
1.1. The Australian Dental Industry Association will be listed as ADIA
1.2. Ancillary Events at the Event may include, but are not limited to:
1.2.1. Cocktail function
1.2.2. SIDCON24 Early Career Event
1.2.3 Australian Dental Industry Awards Dinner 2024
1.2.3. Women in Dentistry Breakfast 2024
1.3. By purchasing these ticket(s) you agree that any photo(s) taken of yourself by ADIA photographers can be used for future ADIA marketing.
1.4. Any dietary requirements must be advised at the time of purchase. Any late notice of dietary requirements will be subject to availability.
1.5. Attendees are not permitted to bring the alcohol or outside catering to the event, unless otherwise specified.
1.6. For admission to licensed venues or areas, attendees may be required to provide proof that they are over 18 years of age. Failure to do so may result in being denied entry.
1.6.1. The right of admission is subject to ADIA’s and the venue's terms of admission. If these are not met, you will not be permitted to enter the venue. Please see venue terms & conditions on the website for each respective Venue.

1.7. By participating in this Event, you agree to abide by the COVID-19 restrictions, guidelines, plans and instructions relevant to the Event and the Event locations.

2. Ticket - Conditions
2.1. All ticket(s) are sold are by ADIA.
2.2. By purchasing ticket(s) for any Ancillary Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions which relate to the purchase of ticket(s) as well as attendance at the Event(s) and bind you.
2.3. Any ticket sales not completed will not be held.
2.4. ADIA reserve the right to change ticketing pricing without notice.
2.5. Any sale or promotional tickets are subject to availability and while allocations last during the designated sales period.
2.6. By purchasing ticket(s) for any Ancillary Event you give your consent to ADIA to collect information about yourself for verification, storage and may be passed on to Event sponsors and partners.
2.7. All ticket(s) purchased will be sent though electronically to the email provided at the time of purchase.

3. Payments
3.1. All ticket(s) are quoted in Australian currency (AUD) unless otherwise specified and include GST unless otherwise specified.
3.2. Credit cards are processed using a secured third-party gateway.

4. Transfer of Ticket(s)
4.1. The transfer of ticket(s) is at ADIA’s sole discretion and requests for transfer must be submitted in writing a minimum of 3 working days prior to the Event commencing.
4.2. Entry may be refused if ticket transfer request(s) have not been approved.

5. Cancellation Requests
5.1. Guest cancellation request:
5.1.1. Any guests wishing to cancel their ticket(s) must submit to ADIA a formal request by email. Any requests for refunds are subject to the following cancellation policy:
i) 60 days or greater prior to the event commencement date 100% refund will be provided
ii) between 59-45 days prior to the event commencement date 75% refund will be provided
iii) between 44-15 days prior to the event commencement date 50% refund will be provided
iv) 14 days or less prior to the event commencements date a 100% cancellation charge will applied

6. Event Cancellations
6.1. ADIA may reschedule or cancel any Ancillary Event due to any unforeseen circumstances as determined by ADIA in their sole discretion. Unforeseen circumstances include (but are not limited to) circumstances related to COVID-19 (such as a COVID-19 outbreak affecting staff employed by ADIA, and/or a third party, government measures enacted as a response to COVID-19 impacting on the viability of the Ancillary Event and/or COVID-19 rates of infection posing an unacceptably high risk).
6.2. If any Ancillary Event is cancelled in its entirety due to circumstances related to COVID-19, ADIA has the sole and absolute right to:
i) reschedule the event, or
ii) issue a full refund.
6.3. If any Ancillary Event is cancelled in its entirety due to any unforeseen circumstances (other than due to unforeseen circumstances related to COVID-19 as set out in clause 6.2), ADIA has the sole and absolute right to:
i) reschedule the event, or
ii) issue a partial/ or full refund, or
iii) not issue any refunds.
6.4. For the avoidance of doubt, neither ADIA will be liable for any loss that arises as a result of the rescheduling or cancellation of any Ancillary Event (e.g. forfeited travel or out of pocket expenses incurred in relation to the Ancillary Event).



Please note that the decision of the issuer in such cases will be deemed final and binding.
